Hornsey CC have junior teams from U9 through to U17 and many of our older juniors play adult cricket for the senior XIs, a testament to the success of the Juniors section. In 2013, a Hornsey Under 14 junior became the second youngest ever to play a MCCL Premier League 1st XI match, and in 2015 many of our juniors had outstanding seasons for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th XIs.
Hornsey has five senior teams playing in the Middlesex County Cricket League (est 1972), as well as a Sunday XI playing in the Middlesex Development League.
Hornsey's 1st team play in the MCCL Division Two where they will be looking to fight for promotion back to the ECB Middlesex Premier League.
Hornsey CC are one of the oldest clubs in London with a proud history and friendly atmosphere, welcoming players of all ages. We are situated in picturesque Crouch End. The club ground is the nearest quality ground to the City and West End, and is situated only 10 minutes bus ride from Finsbury Park underground station on the Victoria Line, and just a short stroll from Highgate underground station on the Northern Line. We are conveniently located for the surrounding areas of Alexandra Palace, East Finchley and Muswell Hill. The Club runs five senior XIs in the Middlesex County Cricket League, as well as a Sunday XI, that plays friendly matches and in the Middlesex Development League. In addition, we have junior teams for all age groups U9 to U19 – a number of our juniors play for the county and in other representative teams (London Schools etc).
